Refuelling with hydrogen is quite similar to refuelling a conventional petrol or diesel vehicle. Refuelling takes approximately 3\u20135 minutes for cars and 20\u201325 minutes for heavy-duty vehicles. The process is safe and includes several built-in safety protocols. The stations are equipped with two dispensers, for 700 bar (H70) and 350 bar (H35).<\/strong> 1. Park<\/strong> at the correct dispenser. Switch off the engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Pay and choose dispenser<\/strong> on the payment terminal. Begin refuelling within 180 seconds. If the time expires, restart the process.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Activate:<\/strong> Go to the selected dispenser. If the dispenser is equipped with a touch screen, activate it by touching the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Connect:<\/strong> 5. Start Refuelling.<\/strong> If the dispenser has a touch screen, press Start on the screen. If no touch screen is available, press the green Start button on the dispenser (make sure you press the Start button on the correct dispenser).<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. Refuelling.<\/strong> begins with a pressure test that takes a few seconds. Do not disconnect the nozzle during this process. Once the pressure test is complete, refuelling begins. Pressure and temperature are automatically controlled throughout the refuelling process, and the dispenser operates in sequences. It is normal to hear hissing sounds during refuelling.\nWhen the vehicle's tank is full, the dispenser stops automatically, and a distinct hissing sound will be heard. If the dispenser is equipped with a display, you can monitor the refuelling process on the screen. When refuelling is complete, the display will show Refuelling Complete.<\/em>If you wish to stop refuelling before the tank is full, press Stop on the dispenser's display. If the dispenser is not equipped with a display, press the red emergency stop button on the dispenser. Do not <\/em>press the emergency stop button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. Disconnect the Nozzle.<\/strong> 8. Finish<\/strong> Return the nozzle to the dispenser holder. Compressed air may start flowing, which may produce a hissing sound. STEP-BY-STEP REFUELLING PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
H70:<\/strong>\u00a0Remove the nozzle from the selected dispenser without engaging the lever on the handle. Compressed air may start flowing, in which case a hissing sound may be heard. Push the nozzle straight onto the vehicle\u2019s refuelling receptacle, making sure it is fully inserted. Push the lever on the handle straight up until it locks into place and remains in the locked position.\u00a0
H35:\u00a0<\/strong>Remove the nozzle from the dispenser. Push the nozzle straight onto the vehicle's hydrogen receptacle until fully engaged. Once correctly positioned, the nozzle locks automatically onto the vehicle. On some stations, the H35 nozzle is equipped with a rotating lever. If applicable, rotate the lever 180\u00b0 clockwise, indicated by the arrow.
The nozzle must be securely connected before refuelling can begin.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
H70:<\/strong> Press the release catch to unlock the handle lever and pull the nozzle straight off the vehicle receptacle.
H35: <\/strong>Pull the nozzle straight off the vehicle receptacle. If the nozzle has a rotating lever, first rotate it 180\u00b0 counter-clockwise, indicated by the arrow, before removing the nozzle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\nTroubleshooting
<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Refuelling must begin within 180 seconds after selecting the dispenser at the payment terminal. If the timeout expires, restart the refuelling process from Step 2.
\u2013 Make sure the lever on the handle is not engaged when removing the nozzle from the selected dispenser.
\u2013 Check that the nozzle is correctly connected to the vehicle's hydrogen receptacle. The nozzle must be pushed on straight<\/em>until fully engaged. Do not twist or rock the nozzle into position.
\u2013 Ensure that you have pressed Start on the correct dispenser.
\u2013 Check that the hose is not twisted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dispenser automatically compensates for temperature during refuelling, which may affect the filling process. If the tank is not completely filled, restart the refuelling process from Step 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Pull the nozzle straight off<\/em> the vehicle's hydrogen receptacle. Do not twist, rock or force the nozzle when disconnecting it.
